Rhode Island Reds are a great heritage laying breed. They excel at free ranging and foraging. While some lines can be aggressive, this line has a calm, friendly disposition and many of them come right up to us for attention. These will make great family birds. Technically considered a dual purpose breed, these girls are most suited for laying consistent eggs.
