Marsbars are a hybrid of Cream Legbar and our special high production Black Copper Marans, combining the best traits of both breeds. These birds typically have crests with feathered or lightly feathered legs. They will produce beautiful olive or mossy green eggs, thanks to the Marans’ rich brown egg genes and the Legbar’s blue egg genetics. Eggs have higher chance of being speckled as we only hatch from the most speckled Marans eggs. Hardy, active foragers, and naturally curious, Marsbars are a great addition to any flock looking for both beauty and high-quality, colorful eggs. Hens will be dark/black and roosters will be dark with slight barring.
