SHIPPING: We now offer shipping on hatching eggs. Shipping is an additional $35 for Priority Mail - this includes a $10 handling fee and $25 for package materials (we use Southern Feathers Shippers foam kits) and postage. We ship one dozen + 2 extra for a total of 14 eggs.

We have the following hatching eggs available:
- Whiting True Blue eggs - will hatch Whiting True Blues or Olive Eggers. All hens are blue, black, or splash Whiting True Blues (bearded, pea combs). Roosters are Whiting True Blue (blue, bearded, pea comb) or Black Copper Maran. Chicks should primarily be blue, black, or splash colored. Approx. 3 dozen available per week.
- Black Copper Maran eggs - will hatch either Olive Eggers or dark brown layers. All hens are BCM's. Roosters are Cream Legbars or F1 Olive Egger (blue, bearded, peacomb). There is a greater likelihood of Olive vs. brown eggs. Our BCM hens are a higher production line that lay highly speckled eggs. Approx. 3 dozen available per week.
- Cream Legbar eggs - will hatch either Cream Legbars or Blue/Green Eggers. Roosters are Cream Legbars or Olive Egger (blue, bearded, peacomb). Approx. 2 dozen available per week.
- Andalusian/Leghorn eggs - will hatch either Zombie or Blue Fibro chicks. Hens are white show leghorns and splash Andalusians. Roosters are Svart Hona. Pullets will lay white to cream colored eggs. Approx. 1 dozen available per week.
All egg orders are limited quantity and will be filled in order they are received. Our current fertility rate is 95%+ for the WTB, Cream Legbar, and white eggs, and about 88% in the BCM. Eggs will as fresh as possible (within 1-3 days old).
Hatching Egg Disclaimer
No Guarantee of Hatchability
Due to variables beyond our control—such as postal handling, environmental conditions during transit, and individual incubation practices—we cannot guarantee the hatch rate of shipped eggs.
Shipping Risks
While we meticulously pack eggs to minimize damage, we are not responsible for issues arising during shipping, including:
- Rough handling by postal services
- Exposure to extreme temperatures
- X-ray scanning during transit
- Extended delivery times
- Other unforeseen factors
Egg Condition Upon Arrival
We ensure that eggs are fresh and collected from our healthy breeding stock. However, once they leave our facility, we cannot be held accountable for:
- Cracked or damaged eggs
- Dislodged or detached air cells
- Any other physical alterations resulting from shipping
Incubation Responsibility
Proper incubation is crucial for successful hatching. Factors such as incubator settings, temperature, humidity, and turning frequency are the buyer’s responsibility. We recommend calibrating your incubator and allowing shipped eggs to settle for 24 hours before incubation to improve hatch rates.
Refunds and Replacements
Given the risks associated with shipping hatching eggs, we do not offer refunds or replacements for eggs that do not develop or hatch. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
Health and Safety
Our eggs are intended for hatching purposes only and are not certified as food-grade. Handle all eggs with care, wash your hands before and after handling, and do not consume them.
