Jersey Giants are a large chicken, with hens weighing up to 10 lbs. Ours are typically more in the 7-8lb range, but they are slow growing and take about 18 months to reach that weight. They have friendly dispositions, and some in this year's batch are particularly demanding of attention.
 
We typically don't sell this breed at earlier than 20 weeks, as they are slow to feather are often picked at by other hens. Contact us if you want a younger hen and we will do our best to accomodate.
